    Copper bonded steel electrode is the perfect coalition of mechanical strength and corrosion protection which features atlow-cost, easy to installation and high efficiency. The electrode has high current-carrying ability and good conductivity according to the skin effect ofcurrent, which composed by mid or low carbon steel core bonded with 99.90%copper. It can be located into the soil directly.

    1.      Copperaverage thickness≥0.254 mm;

    Vertical electrode≥500 N/mm2

    3.      Copperplasticity

    Flexing to 30°, no cracking at bending point.

    4.      Copperbinding test

    Locate the electrode at pliers, the distance of jaws is the diameter of electrode and minus 1.02mm. When extruding the pliers,it will cut the contacting copper film, but the rest copper film will be peeled off.

    5.      ElectricalTest

    After electrical – corrosion test, the final resistance should not exceed 50% comparing to the initial and should not exceed 15% every test circle, no cracking, gaps, pit or bubble.

Itcould be applied to lightning protection and grounding system, anti-static grounding, protective grounding, working earthing and etc. at power plant,transformer substation, transmission line tower, communication base station,airport, rail, high-rise building, oil field and storage warehouse.
